About Quynh

headshotQuynh (“Quinn”) Chen is a bilingual attorney that has been admitted to practice in the Ninth Circuit of the United States Appellate Court. Her practice areas primarily focus on business law, civil litigation, family law, and business transactions. Quynh believes that it is common for various practice areas to be interconnected and that a well-rounded attorney can efficiently identify resolutions to these interconnected issues. Her interest is in software patents, technology, and helping underrepresented clients in her community.

As part of her interest in software patents, Ms. Chen is proficient in programming in Ruby on Rails, MEAN stack Javascript, and working with various databases. Ms. Chen programmed a Diversity Reporter Application that: populates a database of employee data from public diversity reports from companies with 100+ employees (EEO-1 Reports); creates a platform that allows entry of a company name and targeted diversity factor such as ethnicity and/or gender to reveal the percentage of employees at that company with the targeted diversity factor(s); presents a text box right below the results that allows the user to tweet on one click directly to a specific handle to share thoughts.

While at Golden Gate University, School of Law, she served as Vice President of Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
